PCU-510 DUO and PCS-516 UNI time relays. Characteristics, functions, installation.

Overview of the functions of time relays in home and industrial automation systems.

Abstract:

What are time relays used for?

Time relays are used for time control in industrial and domestic automation systems. They can be used, among other things, to control signalling, ventilation or heating.

PCU-510 DUO time relay

This is a programmable two-channel time relay. It is used for time control of devices in industrial automation or home automation systems according to a programme set by the user. We can therefore switch on a controlled device or electrical circuit after a programmed switch-on or switch-off delay time has elapsed.

PCS-516 UNI time relay

The PCS-516 UNI time relay is a programmable, single-channel time relay. Its application is the same as that of the PCU-510 DUO time relay. The PCS-516 UNI performs more time functions and has a universal power supply - from 12 to 264 V.

Common features of the PCU-510 DUO and PCS-516 UNI time relays

Both relays allow the time range to be set from 0.1 s to 576 hours (24 days). Both relays can be powered by DC or AC voltage.
