DIMMER
 is a 230 V lighting dimmer. It works with both classic and LED light sources. A unique feature of the DIMMER FOX dimmer is the ability to configure the minimum and maximum level of light, which allows you to get rid of the flashing effect of LED bulbs at low levels of light intensity. It ensures a smooth transition between the set brightness levels. The time of brightening and dimming is configurable.

Light in and around the house.

Have you ever wondered how important an element of arranging our home or office space is light?
It's no longer just about simply turning it on when we enter a dark room. And turning it off when we leave it. When arranging interiors, we illuminate literally everything. We highlight cabinets, paintings, mirrors. We decide on additional lighting for stairs, floors and furniture. We choose cold, warm and colorful lighting. Single points or e.g. LED strips. We focus on safety and comfort every day. On the other hand, well-selected and distributed lighting is an important element of the design of our house, apartment and office.

Lighting control. F&F offer

We control the light not only using standard buttons. Thanks to the development of home automation, we have a wide selection of cameras and devices that do it for us. According to our preferences. Just set and program. Modern controllers will turn the light on and off according to sunrise and sunset. They will work at the hours we set (twilight machines, astronomical clocks). Motion sensors are great for switching on lights. Using the precision of the laser distance sensor and the capabilities of staircase automation, we will build a modern illumination of stair steps. This way we will achieve the effect of a light wave on the stairs. In turn, we regulate the brightness of the light using light dimmers, described below.

Home lighting dimmers.

When do we need to not only turn on the light, but also adjust its brightness? When we watch a movie. When we listen to music. When we want to create an intimate, romantic atmosphere. It is also convenient to dim the lighting in places where it is generally needed, but at a given moment its full brightness is not necessary - on stairs, corridors, in children's rooms. However, we cannot do without lighting with maximum brightness when reading or doing work where we need to "see well".

Types of lighting dimmers. Are LEDs suitable for dimmers?


When choosing a lighting dimmer, we must be aware of the type of lighting we want to control. Virtually every light dimmer works with regular and halogen bulbs. However, for popular LEDs, you can use an LED lighting dimmer. Provided that the light source controlled by the LED lighting dimmer are dimmable LED bulbs.

How do lighting dimmers work?

Based on wired communication (230V SCO 813 lighting dimmer)
Using radio communication (F&Wave FW-D1D system radio lighting dimmer. F&Home RADIO rh-D2S2 smart home system controller)
Thanks to the home Wi-Fi network (Wi-Fi lighting dimmer (e.g. Wi-Fi dimmer of the FOX-DIMMER control system)

Light control. We installed a light dimmer and what next?

Depending on the lighting dimmer we choose, we get different tools to control the brightness of the light. We can use:
Bell buttons (momentary). Depending on how long you press the button, the light turns on/off or brightens/dims.
Remote controls. The remote control light dimmer can be found in the F&Wave simple radio control system and in the F&Home smart home systems.
Smartphone application. This possibility is created by the F&Home Radio and F&Home smart home systems and the FOX system using a local Wi-Fi network.

Where to install a light dimmer?

The light dimmer is mounted either in a box under the button or in the switchboard on a 35 mm rail.

F&F lighting dimmers

We offer our clients light dimmers that combine the following features in various combinations.
