Why choose the MB-TC-1?

The MB-TC-1 is a transmitter designed to measure temperature using thermocouples. It supports eight types of thermocouples and provides data via an RS-485 Modbus RTU network.

What does this mean in practice?

  • It supports K, J, E, N, T, S, R and B thermocouples.
  • The transmitter measures the temperature at the hot junction and the cold junction.
  • Both relative and absolute temperature values are available.
  • The device has 4 independent temperature alarms.
  • The alarms can operate in accordance with the specified trigger directions.
  • Hysteresis can be set.
  • Measurement data and parameters are available via RS-485 Modbus RTU.

Important: an external thermocouple of the appropriate type is required to take a measurement.
